Start configuration with the underlying material—solid pine, steel, or steel with a marble base—then choose the finish direction. Natural, walnut-color, black, white, champagne gold and wood-grain transfer describe appearance, not always material. Customization should be reviewed by SKU and remains subject to order requirements, sampling and production feasibility.
Which materials are represented in the current range?
The current concepts use solid pine wood, steel tube, and selected steel structures combined with marble bases.
Solid pine is the underlying material in the wooden collection. Steel tube is the underlying material in the metal collection, including wood-grain-transfer models.
CR-M05 and CR-M06 combine steel poles with marble-base directions; this mixed-material definition should remain explicit.
Which finish directions are currently represented?
The range includes natural clear, walnut-color, black, white, champagne-gold powder-coat and wood-grain-transfer directions.
Walnut-color finish on pine does not mean walnut timber. Natural-oak or walnut wood-grain transfer on steel does not make the product wooden.
Finish names should be tied to a sample or agreed reference during development.
What can potentially be customized?
Color, finish, height direction, hook layout, base direction, logo and packaging can be discussed, subject to the exact model and feasibility review.
A customization menu is not a promise that every option works on every SKU.
The buyer brief should state what must change, what must remain fixed and which approval evidence is required.
How should buyers approve material and finish?
Use a written material definition, finish reference, sample and revision-controlled specification.
Keep the underlying material, surface system and color name in separate fields.
Confirm branding, packaging and any required documentation alongside the physical sample rather than after production planning.
Current material and finish entity map
| Direction | Material | Finish example | Important distinction |
|---|---|---|---|
| Natural wood | Solid pine wood | Natural clear finish | Natural describes finish; pine describes material |
| Walnut-color wood | Solid pine wood | Walnut-color finish | Not walnut timber |
| Painted wood | Solid pine wood | Black or white painted finish | Color does not change material |
| Powder-coated metal | Steel tube | Black, white or champagne gold | Steel remains the structural material |
| Wood-look metal | Steel tube | Walnut or natural-oak wood-grain transfer | Not solid wood |
| Marble-base metal | Steel tube + marble base | Metal finish plus natural-stone base | Mixed materials require explicit packing review |

Short answers for specification work.
Does walnut-color mean walnut wood?
No. In the current product system it describes a finish over solid pine.
Does wood-grain transfer make a steel rack wooden?
No. The material remains steel.
Can every customization option be applied to every product?
No. Options must be reviewed against the model, order requirements, sampling and production feasibility.
